Once upon a Saturday a BYU class had an excursion, just like every Saturday. They took a boat down a large part of the Moscow River, in Moscow. It was basically a boat tour, but no tour guide, and they just enjoyed the nice weather and soaked up the sun. Afterwards, they went looking for a park, and on the way came upon a bunch of Mongolians starting a wrestling match. The class decided to watch, and then one of them decided to join. He won his first match with incredible speed, but unfortunately lost his second. The winner won apprx. $2,000 USD. Incredible! Afterwards, they continued to a park and went slacklining and played frisbee and hacky sack. Most went home after this, but the evening was supposed to show a display of fireworks at Red Square. It was hard to get in, (nigh impossible), and still they could only get in so far. There were guards EVERYWHERE...basically a large part of Russia's military was surrounding the place. Matt and Josef came up with 3 good ideas that would have worked for sure if they had put them to use as to how to get in unnoticed, and were very excited for them, but never got to put the plans into action...they're going to save them though and use them on another occassion. The fireworks were pretty pathetic (lasted about 5 min if that), but the dancing outside was FEE-NAhminal!
(pictures yet to come...I forgot my cord at home, and I no longer have internet at my apt.)

Not to be an annoying sister, but actually to be just that...I don't think you take those Russian guards seriously enough.
Love ya!
Maybe not...but they don't take me serious enough either...
